Jim Peters deserves a little vacation after 37 years in casino management business. The history of Stockman's dates back to 1959 when Stockman's was a simple drive-in restaurant. The business grew slowly through the 1970s with additional slot machines being added and remodeling taking place. In 1987, the entire operation expanded largely to include an elegant dining room, bar upgrades and a larger casino area. The late 1990s brought additional expansion with the creation of the Holiday Inn Express in 1997 that grew again in 2003 to total 98 rooms and 2 pools.
Right now Stockman's Casino & Holiday Inn Express conveys a delightful oasis in the middle of desert Nevada. Casino enthusiasts will find a 24-hour full service casino with over 280 slots, Keno and Blackjack. Stockman's offers its visitors two excellent restaurants: Angelica's Steakhouse and Stockman's Coffee Shop. Furthermore, Holiday Inn Express is a luxury hotel with 98 beautifully appointed rooms.
