Foxwoods Resort Casino, received the Outstanding Achievement Award for the design of their new cocktail uniforms at the 2006 Image of the Year Award Competition. The ceremony took place at Bally’s Las Vegas fashion show at the 73rd Annual National Association of Uniform Manufacturers and Dealers Convention. The Image of the Year Award is a prestigious contest and is the industry’s highest honor. Foxwoods Resort Casino will be in charge of more fashionable, comfortable and more colorful cocktail outfits for their employees this year. However, this is not the first victory for Foxwoods. In 1998, they won two Outstanding Achievement Awards for Regional Food Service for their uniform program at Han Garden and Veranda Cafe. In 2000, Foxwoods received an honorable mention for their cocktail server uniform program and the 2006 Outstanding Achievement Award.
Company identify incorporated all the elements of exceptional fit, comfort and design. Integral part of the uniform conveyed creative use of logo and customized logo buttons. For example, the female top consisted of stunning multi-color brocade panels, claret Lycra side panels for movement and comfort, and wide straps with adjustable buttons at shoulders for accessibility and easy adjustment. A blacktop short with poly crepe skirt overlay was selected for movement, comfort and easy fit. A black crepe jacket with multi-color brocade lapel, claret satin collar, and 3/4-length sleeves with claret satin cuffs accented with logo embroidery on the right cuff completed the ensemble. The female maternity dress retains all the elements of the top in an empire style with black crepe bottom. The male cocktail servers wear a black micro-fiber branded collar shirt with claret satin collar and cuffs accented with logo embroidery on the right cuff. Worn over the shirt is a coordinating vest with multi-color brocade faux collar with black crepe back and side panels, completed with logo button. Foxwoods Resort Casino executives prepare for another victory next year.
