Last night I had a surprising dream. Genie came to me in my dream and promised to grant my three wishes as long as they have direct connection with the poker world. Certainly, without thinking too much I have declared that my first desire will be a brilliant and conclusive victory in World Series of Poker 2006. However, to my greatest disappointment Genie has informed me that he cannot execute it, because desires should benefit all poker industry, instead of one individual. So, I have come to a following conclusions.
Desire 1 - Players need to join their efforts
In my opinion, recent difficulties in poker world can be solved. Certainly, solutions to these problems demand more than strong desire and even diligence of separate poker community members. In order to overcome the complexities players need to join their efforts. However, the poker community has not undertaken any resolute and active actions until now. It is important to understand, that the created incorporated association of players will possess impressive force, a vote and actions. It not only will bring the spirit of unity in a community, but also can influence scheduling of tournaments and carrying out of the championships. Besides, the incorporated association of players can establish rules, which determine shooting and translation of competitions, financing of projects and separate players. Thus, players can influence image and even to participate in business of poker directly. Association of players should reflect in the best way not only on affairs of players, but also on other members of poker community. The strong and unanimous association should bring balance in authority, which supervises over the world of poker. Correct management of player association can change structure of poker business and cope with the excessive haste dominating over the poker industry at present.
Certainly, creation process of similar organization demands constant efforts while difficulties and problems are inevitable. For example, the basic problem is management of association. Clearly, poker stars, which gained reputation and recognition of all poker community for long years of the brilliant career, will hasten to fill the organization core. However, it is pleasant to comprehend, that experts, professional and world famous players will supervise over association. We have nothing to worry about because the organization will constantly replenish with new nominees of world value. It is very important to connect stars to the general process of decision-making, but at the same time not to break balance of authority to their advantage. Ah yes, I have absolutely forgotten! It is important to help the members of association to find a friendly way to cooperate among themselves and to come to unanimous and unshakable decisions.
Desire 2 - Online Poker grasps appropriate niche in the market of USA entertainment

Tell me, please, if the player from Texas plays poker on a site, which is officially registered in France, with a financial department in Brazil and servers in New Zealand. Who receives money from the taxes? It is paradoxical. The sleeping giant under a name the Government of the USA can start to wake up at last.

Poker business participants should at last come to universal and comprehensible decision about rules of financing poker industry. To some extent, execution of this desire is influenced with the factors listed in the first item. Players should incur a problem of the financing policy organization. The players are obliged to explain to potential sponsors why and how cooperation with poker community and an investment of money in poker industry is favorable. To transform poker in true sport, which can make a strong competition to television kinds of sports, large investments are necessary. Therefore, it is important, that sponsors knew they receive individual benefit from financing players. As soon as they clearly understand, what personal favor they collect from sponsoring players, new horizons, such as financing of tournaments and poker investments will open in front of them.
Many sponsors are not ready to come to players and to offer the help as financing often is considered disrespectful business and can be condemned by supporters. But if the basic poker business participants can create the general forces system of criteria and rules on which it is necessary to operate the industry of poker, and will manage them precisely to adhere, it will help potential sponsors to estimate properly in what they put the means. If poker business participants will manage to establish such rules - guess, who will appear in the most advantageous position and who will get the basic financial support and thus will increase the size of the incomes? Poker business participants!
